Austria

Austria offers residence for persons of independent means who can afford to cover living costs without employment in Austria. Clients require very basic German skills or alternatively a foreign University diploma may replace such German skills. No Austrian work permit is linked for the first five years, however, if our clients fulfill all requirements for a high-qualified work, they can apply for a Blue EU Card or an Austrian Red-White-Red Card easily. We also assist clients who wish to set-up a business in Austria and consequently have to apply for a work permit based on self-employed work in Austria.

In any case, after five years at the earliest, a permanent residency EC permit can be applied and clients after five years have full access to the labour market in Europe and are entitled to take up residence in every European country (except of UK, Iceland and Denmark). As a strict annual quota and first come-first served principle applies. The deadline for our clients to register is as soon as possible of each year as there is only a very limited number of free places each year and applications have to be filed at a certain point of time each year.

We also assist our clients successfully with the application of Austrian citizenships based on special merits for the Republic of Austria. Applicants do not need any prior German skills and can keep their previous Citizenship.
